FROM SHADOW TO SUBSTANCE | BY FRED ADEGOKE
“Our fathers worshiped in this mountain: and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, woman believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the father.
Yet worship ye know not what we know what we worship: For salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth: For the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:20-24. …<READ MORE>

THE RIVER OF DELIGHT | BY ISAAC ADIMULA
God in His infinite wisdom and holiness formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. God continuing in His plan for man went further to plant a garden eastward (i.e. in a place of wisdom) in Eden and put there the man He has formed, Genesis 2:7-8. The foregoing verses give a picture of a divine plan in which man was made to dwell in wisdom planted by the Lord, for which if the man continues in, he will be grounded and rooted in the mercies and favour of the Lord. …<READ MORE>
WHOSE BUILDING, GOD OR MAN? | BY FRED ADEGOKE
For many years the orthodox churches and lately the Pentecostal churches have elaborately and ornately designed and decorated beautiful, awe-inspiring buildings. In some cases these buildings called churches have themselves become objects of worship. Millions of Naira has been dedicated to building and erecting and maintaining these “sacred” buildings. Huge sums of money are spent to furnish and decorate the inside of some of these church buildings. In the early church, buildings were unimportant. The early church did not have any buildings during their greatest period of advance. In fact, church buildings did not appear until the year 232 AD. The most explosive period of church growth in history took place during those early years when there were no church buildings. …<READ MORE>
